My Energy Healing Journey and Why I Use A.R.T

The energy healing modality I primarily use is called ART (Accelerated Release Technique), which I learned from my trainer, Renu Arora.

ART uses a pendulum to connect with the subconscious mind. This allows us to explore emotional patterns, trauma responses, and stored stress that may be holding you back — helping you move toward greater clarity, peace, and emotional balance.

It may sound unusual at first, and I completely understand — I was unfamiliar with energy healing myself. The idea of subtle energies, pendulums, and subconscious guidance seemed abstract, even a little “out there.” But I was in a vulnerable, exhausted place and needed something that could reach deeper than conventional methods had.

At the time, I was dealing with long-standing emotional struggles. I had tried many approaches — therapy, CBT, somatic work — and while each helped in some ways, I still felt triggered by old trauma, repeating the same patterns no matter how hard I tried to change them:

  • Subtle people-pleasing

  • Small urges of neediness

  • Partial codependency

  • The emotional distress that came with them

I had made progress, but I knew I wasn’t at the finish line. Something was missing.

That led me to explore alternative approaches to trauma and emotional healing. I had heard of energy healing — reiki, qi gong, aromatherapy — but none seemed to work directly with subconscious patterns and the root of emotional blocks.

Then I discovered the ART approach.

It was different: a modality that works with trauma patterns and emotional blocks at their source. I was open — and honestly desperate — enough to give it a try.

The first session was transformative. For the first time in years, I felt a sense of lightness and relief from patterns that had been lingering for decades. Over time, as I continued working with ART, I noticed shifts in my long-standing habits, emotional responses, and limiting beliefs — almost effortlessly.

That experience inspired me to train in ART myself. I wanted to help others who were struggling with emotional stress, recurring patterns, or unprocessed trauma.

Now, as a certified ART practitioner, I combine this modality with inner child work and other tools to help clients connect with their subconscious, release what no longer serves them, and explore deeper emotional freedom.
